Why we check
- Ownership checks stop people selling or advertising as someone else. Publishers verify their website; advertisers verify their brand’s website.
Choose one method
- Add <meta name="diretsa-site-verification" content="CODE"> in the head of your home page.
- Or add a file at https://yourdomain/.well-known/diretsa-verification.txt containing the code.
- Or add a DNS TXT record: diretsa-verification=CODE.
- Check the exact wording shown in the console. Replace CODE with your code, then click Verify.
If verification is pending
- Use the domain exactly as entered. DNS changes may take time to appear. Check the tag, file or record and try Verify again.
No website
- Businesses without a website don't verify a domain. A Diretsa admin checks your registration number or ID and may call your contact person. Sole traders: we keep your full ID number only until the check is done, then only the last four digits.
- If your details are not approved, you'll see the reason under Brand and links and can send them again.
